Finding Zen in the Ordinary offers honest and thought-provoking spiritual insights drawn from daily-life experiences. The book includes forty-eight brief stories, prose poems, dialogues between Zen student and teacher, and reflections on moments of spiritual awakening. Written by Zen priest and teacher Christopher Keevil, the book presents the reader with opportunities to reflect on one’s own moments of spiritual insight and engenders a deep sense of clarity and presence.

Zen Master Bo Mun, Christopher’s teacher, has written a forward to the book. The book also includes Bo Mun’s Ten Principles of Zen, which are illustrated by the forty-eight pieces, along with quotes and commentary drawn from historical teachings in the Zen tradition.
